Ovelina Pratiwi Who Helped Rachel Vennya Escape Quarantine Turns Out To Be A Contract Employee Of The Secretariat General Of The DPR, Secretary General: That's Personal, Not Official

JAKARTA - The Secretary General of the DPR, Indra Iskandar, stated that Ovelina Pratiwi has been deactivated as an employee within the DPR RI. Ovelina herself was one of the people who helped Rachel Vennya's program escape from the COVID-19 quarantine.

"The person in question is a contract employee to be seconded at airport protocol. In our records, on the day of the incident he was in a position not on the schedule," said Indra to reporters, Monday, December 13. Indra also confirmed that Ovelina Pratiwi is no longer an employee in the DPR because she was dismissed long ago.

"It is important for me to inform you that we have deactivated the person in question long before that," said Indra. Indra said all actions taken by Ovelina in helping a number of parties escape from quarantine were personal attitudes and outside of official responsibility.

"So all his actions are outside the official responsibility, because it is personal," said Indra.

It is known, Ovelina Pratiwi was one of the parties who helped Rachel Vennya, Salim Nauderer, and Maulida escape from the COVID-19 quarantine at Wisma Atlet. Ovelina was found guilty and sentenced to 4 months in prison, but the sentence did not need to be served aka probation. He was also fined Rp. 20 million, subsidiary of 1 month in prison. The judge ordered a number of evidences to be confiscated, including a warrant to start work on behalf of Ovelina Pratiwi. From the rows of confiscated evidence, it is known that Ovelina Pratiwi is an employee of the DPR RI's agenda.
