When Risma Entertains Refugees In Semeru's Children
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini entertained refugee children from the hot cloud disaster that fell from Mount Semeru. Risma invites them to sing in the refugee camp at Tirtosari Square, Penanggal Village, Lumajang Regency, East Java, Saturday, December 11.
"Come on, let's sing our children. I also have a gift for you," said Risma to the children who had gathered in the refugee camp.
The refugee atmosphere at Tirtosari Field, Penanggal Village looks crowded and the volunteers mingle with the refugees, but among the dozens of tents there is one tent that looks different, which is decorated with colorful balloons and the lively laughter of children becomes its own color in the tent set up by the Ministry The social.
The atmosphere of the tent became more lively and cheerful as the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini who mingled with the children and parents, even the former Mayor of Surabaya invited the children to play and sing.
The fun continues with the giving of toys to the children. All children received various toys brought by Social Minister Risma to entertain the children in the refugee camps, such as dolls, toy cars and various toys which were distributed equally to all children. They also received study equipment, such as bags, stationery and books.
"Who wants this toy. Come on. This one is for boys and this one is for girls. You guys like it," said Risma while distributing toys.
The children were enthusiastic about welcoming the toys distributed by the Minister of Social Affairs and the voices echoed as if to erase the deep sorrow of the eruption disaster in their place. Not only distributing toys, the Minister of Social Affairs also invited children to play in the trains. They lined up and walked while singing around several tents in the Tirtosari field.
"Come on, who's playing the train. I'll give you a gift later," said Social Minister Risma, who was greeted by the children with great fanfare.
On this occasion, Social Minister Risma also left a message for the children not to get lost in sadness, and get back up, and asked the children to study hard so that their goals can be achieved.
"Kids, you have to be enthusiastic, don't be sad. You have to get up and be enthusiastic to learn so that you can achieve your goals," said Risma.
In addition to playing with children, Risma also provided compensation to the heirs of the victims of the Mount Semeru eruption and hoped that the affected residents could be sincere and come back and not continue to mourn the situation.
Meanwhile, Lumajang Regent Thoriqul Haq appreciated and thanked Social Minister Risma for helping the trauma healing process for children affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru.
"I would like to thank Mrs. Risma for coming back to the refugee camp to help the trauma healing process for children. Also for the compensation for the victims who died. Once again we thank the Minister of Social Affairs," he said.
