Facing Bhayangkara FC, Persija Determined To Continue Positive Record

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta will undergo week 17 of Liga 1 2021 by facing Bhayangkara FC. Meeting the leader of the standings, Persija did not shrivel up and instead were determined to continue the positive record.

Ahead of the match which will take place at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta on Saturday, December 11 at 17.15 WIB, Persija have pocketed a good capital. The Kemayoran Tigers bagged two wins from the previous match, 1-0 over Persikabo and 3-0 over PSM Makassar.

Based on that note, Persija is believed to be able to appear more impressive. Moreover, Angelo Alessio the coach said that his team are currently in good condition and ready to fight Bhayangkara FC.

With the above capital, Alessio also did not hesitate to reveal his determination to lead Persija to close the first round of League 1 with a win.

"This is the last match (in the first round of Liga 1). Persija players are in good shape after winning the last two matches," said Angelo Alessio from Persija's official website.

"We want to continue the positive trend of closing the first round with a win. We know Bhayangkara is a strong team and currently at the top of the table."

"We are ready to go into this match and try to do our best tomorrow," said Angelo Alessio.

Furthermore, regarding the match ahead of Bhayangkara FC, Alessio has also seen the slick record of potential opponents winning in a row in the previous match.

But that didn't make Alessio worried. He tries to raise the spirits of his foster children by asking them to play as much as possible in order to achieve positive results.

"Of course Bhayangkara is a good team because they are at the top of the table at the moment. They have quality and compact players," said Alessio.

"However, again it all depends on how we play tomorrow. We have to implement a strategy to then play as much as possible," he said.

"If everything can be done well, we don't have to worry about facing anyone, including Bhayangkara," said Alessio.
