JAKARTA - Musician and television star Yoo Hee Yeol has tested positive for COVID-19.
Saturday, December 11, Yoo Hee Yeol's agency Antenna announced that the musician had tested positive for COVID-19 and had been fully vaccinated since last August.
"Yoo Hee Yeol did a test (COVID-19) for the schedule on Friday, December 10 and because he received the results, he immediately canceled the schedule and did a PCR test," Antenna quoted Soompi as saying.
According to the statement, even though he was fully vaccinated, Yoo Hee Yeol tested positive for COVID-19.
"Yoo Hee Yeol is carrying out regulations according to government authorities and all staff who interacted with him are currently testing for COVID-19," the agency continued.
They ensure that the artists under the Antenna agency also carry out strict health protocols.
Yoo Hee Yeol is a musician who is also the owner of the agency and record label Antenna. Currently, Yoo Hee Yeol is busy with several television programs such as Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook and the music program Sing Again 2 which has been airing since December 6.
