MUKOMUKO - The Education and Culture Office of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province noted that around 80 percent of the 7,000 junior high school students in this area had received the COVID-19 vaccine, both the first and second doses.
"Based on data, about 80 percent of students in every junior high school in this area have received the COVID-19 vaccine, only students in several schools in Air Rami District have not received the vaccine," said Head of the Mukomuko Regency Education and Culture Office, Ruslan in Mukomuko, Antara. , Friday, December 10.
He said that there were still many junior high school students in Air Rami District who had not received the COVID-19 vaccine because of health problems and permission from their parents.
"The junior high school in this area will socialize the COVID-19 vaccination program to students to convey to their parents," he said.
His party in collaboration with the Health Service through 17 health centers as well as the police and the TNI has provided COVID-19 vaccination services in schools. So far, health workers from the Puskesmas and the Mukomuko Resort Police have provided vaccination services by visiting schools in this area.
In 2022, his party will disseminate information to parents regarding the requirements for students to enter school after they receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
"2022 for students who have not been vaccinated will be socialized to parents because the vaccine is a requirement for students to enter school," he said.
