Livia said that a number of female students who had left the pesantren were not accepted in other schools because they were victims of rape.

Livia said that this matter had been reported by LPSK to the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, to be followed up. He said the local government needed to ensure that the children who were victims could return to school.

The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Bandung City has transferred all female students from the Tahfidz Madani Islamic boarding school in Bandung City. Head of the Bandung City Ministry of Religion, Tedi Ahmad Junaedi, said the transfer was carried out to provide protection both physically and psychologically to the students.
"We have a meeting with the province and the entire PKPPS working group coordinates who will accommodate the 35 children. Although the decision still depends on the child. Most of the children want to go to formal school," said Tedi.
The Ministry of Religion has also revoked the permit for the Islamic boarding school located in the city of Bandung. Tedi said the boarding school only got a permit to operate in the Antapani area, while the pesantren located in Cibiru was established without the Ministry of Religion's permission.
