Thought They Wanted To Give Money, 2 Teenagers On Motorbikes Actually Stole The Mosque Donation Net At Pasar Rebo
JAKARTA - The actions of two teenagers were caught on CCTV while stealing money from a mosque donation which was in a fishing net at the Al-Barkah Mosque, Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
The theft of a motorized teenager was then viral on social media Instagram with various negative comments from citizens. In fact, the two perpetrators are classified as reckless in carrying out their actions.
From the video footage, it can be seen that the action was carried out when the situation was crowded with residents. The two assailants immediately grabbed and ran away.
In the CCTV footage, it appears that two people riding motorbikes pass in front of the Al-Barkah Mosque, Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Despite being shouted at by residents, the perpetrator immediately accelerated his vehicle and fled.
"The perpetrators pretended to donate money to the donation net for the construction of the mosque. Then the perpetrators took all the money and ran away," said Muhammad Waltika, Head of RT 13/03, Kalisari when confirmed, Friday 10 December.
Similar actions have occurred up to three times in the same location.
"It happened at 11 pm, when a lot of people, women were shopping. The perpetrators were shouted at and ran down RT 12. The perpetrators were 2 people riding in a red automatic motorbike," he said.
It is estimated that the total loss of money for the construction of this mosque reaches millions of rupiah.
"The donation is for the construction of a mosque. This is the third time this has happened, with the same method.
