'Closing The Well Is Still Temporary, Not Old Enough,' Responds To Deputy Governor Riza About The Sinking Of The PSI DPP Chairperson's Car
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria suspects that the temporary closure of the infiltration well that is not yet strong is the reason PSI politician Isyana Bagoes Oka's vehicle fell in the Bona Indah area, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.
"There are covers (wells) which are temporary in nature, not permanent, maybe not strong enough to be old enough, they should be guarded," said Riza at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, December 9, quoted from Antara.
Riza admitted that he had informed the Water Resources Office to immediately evaluate the vendor or contractor working on the infiltration well project.
He emphasized that contractors who are negligent in carrying out their work and do not comply with the procedures will be subject to sanctions.
"The contractor on duty must ensure that his work is in accordance with the specifications, the procedures, the regulatory mechanism, must be appropriate and must be held accountable. Anyone who violates will be sanctioned," said Riza.
Previously, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan instructed the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) to evaluate the work of vertical drainage contractors (infiltration wells) to ensure that the work was carried out according to standards.
Then on Sunday (5/12), the DKI Jakarta Water Resources Service (SDA) repaired a number of vertical drainage (infiltration wells) on Jalan Lebak Bulus III, Cilandak, South Jakarta, by making an additional hole above the infiltration well which was previously damaged. .
The DKI SDA Agency through contractors makes water holes in the infiltration well locations that have been covered with asphalt so that they can absorb rainwater into the ground.
The car belonging to PSI's DPP chairman, Isyana Bagoes Oka, was being driven by a driver alone. Isyana was not in the car at the time of the incident. However, according to the driver's confession, at that time the car was driving normally, even at a low speed. the water infiltration hole project has been completed," said Isyana.
At that time, the driver asked for help from several people around the location to lift the stuck car. Then, through his Twitter account, Isyana expressed his gratitude to one of the residents who had helped his car. The resident with the @arnold5508 account had also uploaded a photo of the condition when Isyana's car fell into the infiltration well.
