Twitter Also Joins In Presenting A Video Feed Feature Similar To TikTok
JAKARTA - Twitter is now also bringing the TikTok feature into its social media. The Explore tab is now being tested to look like video feeds in the Bytedance, China's app.
The feature is also tab-complete For You, and is being tested for Android and iOS users in select countries using Twitter in English.
"We're testing a revamped and more personalized Explore page to make it easier for you to relax, discover new interests, and see what's going on," said a Twitter spokesperson.

The company says the feature is a visual upgrade by displaying content already on Twitter. This is part of Twitter's ongoing efforts to improve recommendations and personalized discovery across platforms.
Twitter is the newest social app among the rest to see if it can take advantage of TikTok's fast growth. As the short video app surpassed one billion monthly active users this year, making it one of the fastest companies to reach the milestone.
TikTok copycats like Instagram Reels, Snapchat Spotlight, and YouTube Shorts have encouraged content creators to use their platform and are growing in popularity. Even apps like Netflix, Spotify, and Reddit are experimenting with the format.
This year, Twitter has continuously released new products and features such as Spaces, Twitter Blue, and Tip Jar. The momentum is expected to continue with Parag Agrawal taking over as CEO after co-founder Jack Dorsey stepped down last week.
It's about time Agrawal started supporting the so-called ambitious goals he spoke of during his CEO appointment. Thus quoted from TechCrunch, Thursday, December 9th.
