Note, The New Travel Route – Cinangka Will Be Odd-Even, Effective Saturday 11 December

JAKARTA - The Cilegon Police will conduct a trial implementation of the implementation of the odd-even (Gage) for private vehicles outside the area along the Anyar-Cinangka Beach tourist route on Saturday 11 December, starting at 06.30 WIB.

"Gage will be tested on the Anyer to Cinangka tourist route, please pay attention to the public so they can find out how Gage will be applied to access roads to the Anyer tourist attractions," said Cilegon Police Chief, AKBP Sigit Haryono, Wednesday, December 8.

Restrictions on private vehicles from outside the region will be effective throughout the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year celebrations.

"This is in line with the central government's policy to be able to control the mobility of residents in tourist spots during the upcoming Nataru (Christmas New Year)," said Sigit.

Currently the Cilegon Police are aggressively appealing to both local and foreign communities who will carry out tours in the Anyar Beach area of Cinangka regarding the gage policy, and ask the public to always be aware of extreme weather which is always updated by the BMKG.

"It is hoped that the community will be able to reduce their mobility during Nataru, especially in the Anyer area and always be prepared for possible disasters," concluded Sigit.

Separately, the Head of Traffic for the Cilegon Police, the Banten Police, AKP Yusuf Dwi Admojo, said that the gage route would be carried out at the Ciwandan South Intersection (JLS) Post and the Cinangka Teneng Intersection, which would be held every Saturday at 06.30 WIB and Sunday at 15.00 WIB.
