The Name Is The Hunter Vaccine Team, Their Job Is To Visit Residents In Bogor To Directly Inject The COVID-19 Vaccine

BOGOR - The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force in West Java Province deployed the Hunter Vaccine team to visit residents who had not received the COVID-19 vaccine injection.

"We visit every citizen who has not been vaccinated based on the data we have together with health workers," said Deputy Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Lt. Col. Sukur Hermanto, after the launch of the 'Hunter Vaccine' program at the police headquarters in Cibinong, Bogor, Antara, Wednesday, December 8th.

He said that the deployment of the Hunter Vaccine Team was aimed at accelerating the completion of the COVID-19 vaccination implementation.

The team, which includes the police, TNI, and medical personnel, was deployed to achieve the target of increasing the COVID-19 vaccination coverage to 70 percent of the target of 3.7 million people by the end of December 2021.

Sukur said the Hunter Vaccine Team would first comb the Cibinong Raya area and then move to remote areas of Bogor Regency looking for residents who had not vaccinated against COVID-19.

"We will target the other 39 sub-districts after the data on residents who have not been vaccinated in each sub-district are available. Once complete, the Hunter Vaccine Team will target these areas," said Sukur.

Head of the Bogor Resort Police AKBP Harun said the Hunter Vaccine Team would operate until the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination in Bogor Regency was complete.

"According to the national target, namely (coverage) of at least 70 percent for all residents and 50 percent for the elderly in Bogor Regency, the second phase of the vaccine must have been vaccinated. The job of the Hunter Vaccine Team is to help realize this target," said Harun.

According to data from the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force, currently the first dose of vaccination and complete dose of vaccination have been carried out at 57 percent and 42 percent of the target, respectively.
