The Italian coach explained that Inter must take lessons from the two matches against Real Madrid in the Champions League because they can perform well even though they have to lose.
According to him, it shows that Inter can't be better than Real Madrid to win the game and there are still some things that need to be fixed.
"We have to learn from it because we played well in the two games against Real Madrid, but lost both. This means we still have to fix some things," said Inzaghi.
Although there are positive things that can be taken, Inzaghi admitted that he was disappointed with the results achieved by Inter, especially after his team performed so well in the first half.
The former Lazio coach explained, Inter Milan created many chances and had good statistics, but in the end they fell behind and ended the first half without scoring a goal.
"We are very disappointed, especially after playing so well in the first half. We created a lot of chances and our statistics are good, but we fell behind and ended the first half without scoring a goal," explained Inzaghi.
This defeat to Real Madrid makes Inter Milan have to settle for being in second place in the Champions League Group D final standings with a total of 10 points from six matches.
This collection of points is enough for Inter Milan to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League as runners-up in Group D and the draw for the next round is planned to be held on Monday, December 13 next.
