Lecturer Of One Of The Famous Universities Allegedly Performing Sexting On Students
JAKARTA - One of the public universities in Jakarta has been in the spotlight regarding the news that a lecturer with the initials DA is suspected of sexually harassing his student.
Facing the news, UNJ Public Relations Head Syaifudin said the student who felt harassed had reported it to the UNJ Student Executive Board (BEM).
"BEM UNJ has conveyed it to the leadership (rector) yesterday," said Syaifudin, Wednesday, December 8.
Syaifudin said the type of sexual harassment that DA carried out was the type of teasing behavior in text messages or sexting.
In uploading screenshots that are crowded on social media, for example, DA writes sentences like "I love u" or "Would you like to marry me?" via message.
Syaifudin again said that UNJ would investigate the case first by summoning the Dean and Head of the Study Program concerned.
"We also summoned the DA for questioning regarding the case that occurred," he said.
Syaifudin explained that UNJ would investigate the case. So that the principle of the presumption of innocence can be implemented in handling this case.
"So UNJ is very careful in handling this case, and it is necessary to summon various parties for questioning," he said.
