Police Denies The Assumption That The Detention Of Bripda Randy Is Just A Formality
JAKARTA - The National Police called the detention of Bripda Randy Bagus after the viral suicide case of Novia Widyasari, as a firm action for members of the Bhayangkara Corps who committed criminal acts.
This statement is to refute the assumption that the detention of Bripda Randy Bagus is just a formality.
"The principle is that in this institution, there is no omission. If there are members who do positive things, they will certainly get positive rewards too, when someone commits a violation, they will definitely be given sanctions. That is the principle," said Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to journalists, Wednesday, December 8th.
In the case of Novia Widyasari's abortion, Bripda Randy has also been named a suspect. This proves that the Police are firm on the mistakes made by their members.
"The National Police will take firm action against members who violate regulations, whether discipline, ethics, even criminal action will be taken decisively. The principle is once again there is no omission in this institution," said Rusdi.
Bripra Randy was named a suspect in the abortion case. Because, he ordered Novia Widyasari Rahayu (NWR) to abort her pregnancy.
While dating Bripda Randy Bagus, Novia Widyasari Rahayu had two abortions.
"They are officially dating, then after dating they do a husband and wife act and it will take place from 2020 to 2021 in Malang, where boarding houses and hotels are located in Malang," said Deputy Chief of the East Java Police Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo.
"Then we also got evidence that the victim during the courtship until yesterday, October 2019 to December 2021, had an abortion together, which was carried out in March 2020, the second in August 2021," he continued.
This is said to be Novia Widyasari Rahayu's motive for ending her life beside her father's grave. He ended his life by drinking potassium poison.
