Valley Sari residents whose houses were damaged, had to be evacuated to the nearest mosque or to Kekait Market.
"Currently residents have started cleaning the rubble of their homes," he said.
Previously, flood victims in Batulayar Utara, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday (8/12) needed used clothes and baby equipment, from diapers to eucalyptus oil.
After the residents' houses were hit by flash floods from the Meninting River that occurred on Monday (6/12).
"We need used clothes and baby equipment from diapers to eucalyptus oil," said one of the refugees, Dewi.
In addition, the need for nine basic commodities (sembako) is still lacking. "We really need it, our house has been hit by a flood," said Sukinah.
Meanwhile, the residents' activities together with the TNI and the police worked hand in hand to clean up the mud left over from the flood, including tree trunks and collapsed houses belonging to residents.
The cleaning activity lowers the bulldozer considering that the residual waste from the flood still fills the flooded area. A number of refugee posts have been established to help people who have lost their homes.
