JAKARTA - Brigadier Irwan Lambu was seriously injured as a result of the beating that took place in the Pondok Indah area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. In fact, Irwan had to undergo treatment at the hospital.

"The person concerned was referred to Kramat Jati Hospital because he was hit in the solar plexus," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 8.

In fact, in the series of persecutions, Brigadier Irwan was dragged away by the suspects. The incident was caught on CCTV installed in the area.

"How he was beaten, dragged by the suspects," said Zulpan.

Brigadier Irwan Lambu was assaulted by a group of men in the Pondok Indah area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

The persecution began when Brigadier Irwan wanted to disperse the illegal racing, precisely near the Pondok Indah roundabout.

When the traffic light turned green, the victim who was driving a four-wheeled vehicle could not move the vehicle because it was blocked by an unknown group of people who were stopping all vehicles from the Pondok Indah roundabout towards Permata Hijau.

Next, the victim got out of the car and saw the group was racing. The victim then took the initiative to take one of the motorcycle keys to disperse the illegal racing. However, a group of unknown people actually attacked. Even the victim was shouted at by fake police.

Seeing her husband being beaten, the victim's wife tried to intervene. But the attempt failed, the perpetrators continued to beat the victim.

One of the six suspects in the assault against Brigadier Irwan Lambu was said to have carried a gun in the form of a pistol. But, it turns out the gun was just a match.

"The weapon is a match gun, so it's not a gun," said Kombes E. Zulpan.

Although not a firearm, the lighter in the form of a gun belonging to the suspect with the initials B was used to beat Brigadier Irwan. So, the match was used as evidence.
