Angelo Alessio himself revealed this moment after the match. The Persija coach admitted that he had scolded the players in the locker room during the first half.
"I was angry in the dressing room because we didn't play fast and followed the opponent's game," Alessio said in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, December 7.
The Italian coach's anger was triggered by the ineffective performance of the Kemayoran Tiger squad in the first half. So, at halftime he tried to provide input so that the performance in the second half was better.
Alessio's efforts were successful, after being scolded in the locker room the players appeared more ferocious in the second half. This is evident from the three balls that were scored into the PSM Makassar goal.
"In the second half we played with one or two touches and pressed more and as a result we scored three goals so that in the end we won," said Alessio.
The three goals scored by Persija in the match at the Manahan Stadium, Solo were opened by Marko Simic, followed by Osvaldo Haay and closed by Braif Fatari. Seeing how his team played well in this match, Alessio was very satisfied and happy.
"We were able to score three goals and I am very satisfied with the performance of all the players," said Alessio.
