The Army Establishes Public Kitchen For West Lombok Flood Victims, Who Cooks And Wraps TNI Wife's Food From Three Dimensions
WEST LOMBOK - The Indonesian National Army in the Military Resort Command area 162/Wira Bhakti established a public kitchen to meet the food needs of flood victims in the West Lombok Regency.
The operation was carried out by deploying the Dharma Pertiwi Management, a combination of the wives of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, from Persit Korem 162/WB, Jalasenastri Lanal Mataram, and Pia Ardhya Garini Air Base ZAM Rembiga.
Chairman of the Dharma Pertiwi Management Coordinator for the NTB Regional Branch "J", Kirana Rizal Ramdhani, when met at the Bhayangkara Residence public kitchen, Ranjok Village, Tuesday, December 7, said that there were three locations for the construction of public kitchens for flood victims in West Lombok Regency.
"The three locations are in flood-affected areas, namely in Ranjok Village and Sesela Village, Gunungsari District, and Batulayar Village, Batulayar District", said Kirana, who is also the chairman of the Army Wives Association (Persit) Coordinator of the 162/Wira Bhakti Military Resort Branch.
The wife of Danrem 162/Wira Bhakti Brigadier, General Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, explained that the field kitchen prepared by Korem 162/WB was to meet the food needs three times a day for flood-affected residents, starting with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
"Alhamdulillah, in the public kitchen of Bhayangkara Residence, since yesterday until today we have been able to meet the needs of the residents, totaling 219 families with a total population of 876 people", she said as quoted by Antara.
In addition to providing energy assistance in preparing and distributing ready-to-eat food for the community, her party also provided food and clothing assistance.
"The most basic and most important needs we prepare for the community, there are food ingredients in the form of rice, eggs, instant noodles, cooking spices and others. While clothes are in the form of blankets, baby diapers, women's needs, toiletries and toiletries and so on", she said.
Finally, she expressed her concern about the disaster that occurred at the end of this year. Kirana hopes that this disaster will pass quickly and the affected residents will be able to return to their normal activities as soon as possible.
