Effects Of LGBT Party In Kalibata, Wow Cafe's Operating Hours Are Restricted
JAKARTA - Pancoran sub-district head Rizki Adhari reacts to the viral video that allegedly LGBT people held an LGBT party at Wow Cafe, Kalibata, South Jakarta.
According to him, the incident has been followed up by the Secretary of the Cameroon, the Head of the Kalibata Village and the Head of the Police, RT/RW, FKDM and community leaders.
"As a result, it was agreed that the operating hours of the Wow Cafe were until 22.00 WIB. After that time there were likes to hang out there, so hopefully it will be disbanded later because it has entered PPKM level 2 and is going to level 3. So there is another adjustment related to the operating hours of Wow cafe ," said the Camat, Tuesday, December 7.
Then, he continued, if there are visitors who misbehave, they can be reported to the Police for follow-up.
"Wow Cafe promises to create a new system so that unwanted things don't happen by tightening access to entry," he said.
The Camat is also waiting for follow-up from other UKPD related to coaching.
"Later, we will see the follow-up from the Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-Department (Parekraf) to provide guidance to the managers and tenants of Wow Cafe," he said.
Previously, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pancoran Police were still hunting for same-sex teenagers who were suspected of having an LGBT party at the Wow Cafe, Kalibata, South Jakarta. Due to the viral party on social media, the cafe was immediately raided by residents on Monday, December 6.
"We and the management will seek and clarify what is their purpose in doing this," said Pancoran police chief Kompol Rudiyanto when contacted by reporters, Tuesday, December 7.
Rudiyanto said the LGBT party was held spontaneously and without management approval. Therefore, his party did not impose sanctions on the management or temporarily close the cafe.
