Ipda OS, Police Shooting At Bintaro Toll Exit Become Suspects
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has upgraded the status of Ipda OS from being investigated to suspect in the shooting case at the Bintaro Toll Exit. This determination is based on the results of the case.
"Investigators have determined or raised the status of Ipda OS in investigating this case as a suspect," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Tuesday, December 7.
In the case, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation and Propam Polda Metro Jaya believes that Ipda OS committed a criminal offense. This is supported by evidence tools and clues that have been collected.
"Based on the investigations carried out by the Crimean investigators of the Polda Metro Jaya and also the Propam Bid and also a case title that has just been completed," said Zulpan.
Ipda OS was charged with Article 351 and/or 359 of the Criminal Code. The penalty is 7 years in prison.
Ipda OS was prosecuted in the shooting case against Poltak Pasaribu and M. Aruan. The shooting took place at the Bintaro Toll Exit, South Jakarta, on Friday, November 26, at around 19.00 WIB.
In the shooting case, Poltak Pasaribu died after previously undergoing intensive treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. Meanwhile, another victim, M. Aruan, survived.
