Three Junior High School Students In Sukabumi Chased By Police After Three Motorcycle Rides While Brandishing Sharp Weapons On The Road

JAKARTA – Three students in Sukabumi City were arrested by the Sukabumi City Police for carrying sharp weapons. It was later discovered that a brawl became the motive for the three students to carry sharp weapons.

Officers secured the three students on R Syamsudin SH Street, Sukabumi City, West Java. They plan to have a brawl with students from other schools around the City Hall Office.

"Thank God, thanks to the dexterity of Sukabumi City Police personnel who were on standby around the City Hall Office, a brawl between junior high school students was successfully thwarted and arrested three students who were caught carrying samurai sharp weapons and a large saw," said Public Relations of the Sukanumi City Police, First Inspector Astuti to reporters, quoted Monday, December 7th.

Based on the information gathered, the incident began when a group of junior high school students from Sukabumi Regency, riding a motorcycle in three packs, tried to attack a junior high school student who was hanging out at one of the stalls on Ir H Djuanda Street.

The irony is that the three students who are still minors carry motorbikes recklessly, brandishing sharp weapons. Sukabumi City Police personnel who were on alert immediately chased the unscrupulous student and immediately arrested him.

It turned out that after being searched, evidence was found in the form of a samurai and a large saw which was suspected to be used during clashes with other junior high school students. Anticipating things that were not wanted, the police also dispersed the students who were gathering so that they immediately returned to their respective homes.

"For further investigation and the three are still minors, the handling has been handed over to the Sukabumi City Police, the three are still being questioned," he said.

Astuti said various efforts were made by the Sukabumi City Police to prevent brawls between students in their jurisdiction, apart from alerting personnel in locations prone to brawls between students, they also conducted counseling to students from various levels about the dangers and impacts of brawls.

Prevention of brawls can not only be done by the security forces, but all elements must participate in preventing it, both the school and especially parents from monitoring their children's activities outside the home and supervising friends and places to hang out.
