Viral, Voice Of Baceprot's Answer When Asked About Hijab In The Tour Title Makes Proud

JAKARTA - The band Voice of Baceprot (VoB) is running the Fight Dream Believe 2021 tour at several points in European countries. Despite getting an enthusiastic response, unfortunately they often get the same question.

Through social media, VoB uploaded the latest video from their concert. Marsya Kurnia as the vocalist of Voice of Baceprot revealed that they are often asked about the hijab.

"Before performing, we conducted several interviews and there was one question that surprised me," said Marsya.

"Most of them ask me about hijab," continued Marsya, accompanied by cheers from the audience. Marsya felt that no one asked about the music they brought.

"It makes me feel as if I came here for a fashion event because they only care about our appearance," said Marsya. According to him, the hijab is also a symbol of peace, love and beauty.

"And if you ask what we do with these hijabs, and if anyone has bad comments about us and for those who question our decisions, this is what we do," he said while playing guitar.

The guitar playing made the audience cheer and Marsya and Sitti and Widi continued their performance.

Voice of Baceprot is a metal band from Garut that started as a theater. Currently, VOB is on a European tour where they play a number of original songs that contain their views on the public highlighting women playing metal music.
