'Don't Study Religion Too Deeply Without An Expert Teacher', TNI AD Try To Explain The Meaning Of KSAD Dudung's Statement

JAKARTA - The TNI AD through the Head of Dispenad Brigadier General Tatang explained the statement of KSAD General Dudung Abdurachman regarding the recommendation not to study religion too deeply.

According to Brigadier General Tatang, the impact of studying religion too deeply without the presence of a teacher or ustaz who is an expert in his knowledge can lead to deviations.

"That's what the Army Chief of Staff conveyed in the video that was shown on the Dispenad YouTube account when giving a cult after the dawn prayer with the soldiers of the XVIII/Cenderawasih Military Command," said Head of Dispenad Brigadier General Tatang, Sunday, December 6.

Kadispenad Brigadier General Tatang was also present at the event. He said, currently many people are studying religion without an expert teacher.

Finally, it is easy to be deceived by people who interpret religion not according to the teachings of the Prophet.

“By learning one's own religion, especially in depth without a teacher, it tends to be easily influenced. In the end, it will actually lead to deviations," he continued.

"For example, the word this hadith follows. Then, another hadith says, too. Therefore, don't be too deep in studying religion without an expert tutor. It's different if someone directs and guides correctly and expertly," said Kadispenad in his explanation.
