DKI Provincial Government Distributes Scholarships To 2,858 Students Worth Rp13.47 Billion
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Provincial Government distributed scholarships for 2,858 students worth Rp13.47 billion. The award of this scholarship was carried out by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.
In this submission, the DKI Provincial Government through Bank DKI provided scholarships in the form of educational assistance, each of which received Rp4.06 million.
"The provision of tuition assistance in the form of scholarships consists of advanced recipients of 1,001 students and new recipients of 1,857 students with an average GPA above 3," said Director of UMK Credit and Sharia Business of Bank DKI, Babay Parid in a statement, Monday, December 6. .
Babay said that the scholarships were distributed through the Student Monas Savings account managed by Bank DKI.
The number of students came from 194 universities consisting of 184 private universities and 10 state universities, while 2389 private universities and 469 state universities were students.
DKI also distributes thesis/final project writing assistance to 400 students each at IDR 2,000,000 per year with a total fund of IDR 800,000,000.
"As well as providing stimulant tuition assistance to Jakarta residents in need," said Babay.
In addition to distributing scholarship assistance from the Jakarta Scholarship Foundation, in 2021 Bank DKI will also distribute KJMU scholarships from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office to 11,812 students from 13 PTN and 10 PTS accredited A in the amount of IDR 9 million per semester.
"Scholarship recipients from the Jakarta Scholarship Foundation can also make non-cash transactions through the JakOne Mobile Bank DKI application. Scholarship recipients who have linked the Monas Pelajar account with JakOne Mobile can check their balance without having to go to Bank DKI ATMs," he concluded.
