The Body Found In Legok Pari Waters Turns Out To Be A Woman Who Was Reported Missing Three Days Ago
JAKARTA - A female corpse was found in the waters of Segara Anakan Legok Pari, Ujung Gagak Village, Kampung Laut District, Kab. Cilacap.
Dede Tohirin, a fisherman from Klaces, Laut village, was the first witness to find the body lying face down in a pile of garbage. According to information received by VOI, Monday, December 6, at that time Dede was not sure that it was a corpse.
After calling his friend, Atang Ali, only then were they sure that it was the corpse of a woman. Upon the discovery, Dede and Ali reported to the SAR team of Laut village which was forwarded to the Kawunganten Police. At around 2:45 p.m., the officers recovered the bodies.
After being identified, the woman's body had the characteristics of curly hair, she was about 60 years old and still wearing gold jewelry in the form of a chain bracelet and two rings on her ring finger.
Police officers also adjusted these characteristics with reports of missing persons since December 3, 2021. The missing persons report stated that the woman had left her house in Parunglesan RT02/08 Kec. Banjar Kota, since three days ago.
Wawan, one of the residents who reported missing persons admitted that the body found by fishermen in the waters of Segara Anakan was his mother, Suwit (68), a resident of Bangunharja village, Kec. Cisaga.
After being examined by the medical team, there were no signs of abuse on the body. Then the body was handed over to the family.
