Zulkifli Hasan Believes Gibran Will Win In The Solo Pilkada

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) has firmly supported the candidates for mayor and deputy mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Teguh Prakosa. This decision was made because PAN believes President Joko Widodo's eldest son will win hands down.

"We believe my estimate might be above 80 percent (winning in the 2020 Solo Pilkada, red), that's my estimate," said PAN General Chairperson Zulkifli Hasan after receiving Gibran's visit at the MPR RI Leadership Service House in the Widya Chandra Complex, reported by Antara, Jakarta. , Wednesday, August 12.

He admitted that he believed that usually what he predicted would come true and Gibran-Teguh would win the Solo Pilkada.

Zulkifli said that his party had decided five months ago to support Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for Mayor of Surakarta in the 2020 Regional Election.

"Before the PDIP decided, I had decided maybe five months ago (to support Gibran in the Surakarta Pilkada, red) before PAN held a congress, I have told you," he said.

He explained that the reason PAN supports Gibran is because he is a young person who wants to do much for the community in his birthplace in Solo.

According to him, Gibran's figure cannot be doubted because he has built his business in various places and has a lot of experience.

"Because Mas Gibran is one of the young leaders who want to do a lot for society, we know that he owns a company, although young people have a lot of experience. We think Gibran is the best choice for Surakarta, successful young people have experience," he said.
