Keris From Gibran For Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto
BOGOR - Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka presented a keris souvenir to Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto at the Cultural Carnival of the 5th Congress of the Indonesian Heritage Cities Network (JKPI) at the Pajajaran Sports Center (GOR).
Wearing the typical clothes of the prince of the Solo Palace which is dominated by black and gold patterns, Gibran handed a keris wrapped in a black sheath to Bima Arya who was wearing pangsi clothes and Sundanese sandals in the middle of the Indoor Field A GOR Pajajaran.
In the cultural event starting at 20.30 WIB, Gibran and Bima Arya, after giving the souvenirs, then sat side by side watching regional dances from various cities and regencies that are members of JKPI.
Gibran and Bima Arya seemed to focus on paying attention to the cultural performances presented by artists from various regions.
Hundreds of spectators representing various regions from 72 cities and regencies of JKPI members were orderly in a series of activities with strict health protocols by wearing masks.
Loud music punctuated by boisterous audiences was heard at every dance performance from various regions.
The committee also displayed video footage of cultural events that have been held in the city of Bogor as well as a number of tourist attractions and parks that have become the pride of the city of Bogor.
The 5th JKPI Congress in Bogor City was attended by 40 regional heads and a number of representatives from various other regions. The series of congresses will take place from 2-5 December 2021.
On the first day of the activity, the Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya Sugiarto held a reception to welcome the delegates from the JKPI member regions at the Bogor City Hall.
