One Of The International Network Methamphetamine Dealers Arrested While Trying To Escape To Malaysia

JAKARTA - Based on the results of the investigation by the Narcotics Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, the suspect PH is the mastermind of a narcotics syndicate with a total of 61 kilograms of evidence seized. PH is also one of the international network methamphetamine dealers.

"PH acts as a liaison and controller. Through PH, he has an international network in Malaysia," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head Kompol Panji Yoga to reporters, Friday, December 3.

Kompol Panji said the arrest of the international network of methamphetamine dealers was assisted by the Medan Police. The suspect PH was arrested at a hotel in the Medan area, Sumatra Province.

"PH plans to flee to Malaysia," he said.

PH's arrest is the result of the development of suspect E who was arrested in Southwest Aceh.

"E was arrested in the house that was used as a crystal methamphetamine warehouse. After capturing E, development was carried out to arrest PH," he said.

Previously, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Special Team arrested four drug dealers on the international network of Malaysia. The four international syndicate suspects had the initials J, FF, E and PH.

To trick the officers, the narcotics cartels smuggled crystal methamphetamine into Indonesia packaged in green tea packs from China.

"Methamphetamine is put in a sack. The tea packets are usually used to trick (the police) but now it's too frequent, so the police know that this guan yin wang tea packet must contain methamphetamine," said Head of Narcotics Unit at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Panji Yoga, to reporters on Friday. From the results of disclosures in a number of places, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Special Team confiscated 61 illegal powder belonging to the international network of methamphetamine dealers.
