This Is The Reason The Police Responsible For The Shooting At The Bintaro Toll Exit Were Not Arrested, The Marathon Examination Is Still Being Carried Out
JAKARTA - Ipda OS, the suspect in the shooting at the exit toll Bintaro, South Jakarta, has not been arrested. The reason is that Ipda OS has not been named a suspect.
"They were investigated but not detained. If they are detained, there is a status, after being a suspect," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan when contacted, Friday, December 3.
In addition, said Zulpan, another reason was because investigators provided an opportunity for Ipda OS to rest. This is because he must undergo a series of examinations at the general criminal investigator and Propam.
"Now the marathon is still being investigated. Of course it is also tiring for those concerned. But we want to be as transparent as possible about this case," he said.
Zulpan said Ipda OS had been temporarily dismissed as a member of the Highway Patrol (PJR) Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya. This is done until the case involving him has permanent legal force.
"Ipda OS has been deactivated from there (PJR Ditlantas) in the context of an intensive inspection," said Zulpan.
For information, Ipda OS is the suspect in the shooting of Poltak Pasaribu and M. Aruan. The shooting took place at the Bintaro Toll Exit, South Jakarta, on Friday, November 26, at around 19.00 WIB.
In the shooting case, Poltak Pasaribu died after previously undergoing intensive treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. Meanwhile, another victim, M. Aruan, is still undergoing treatment.
