Once Again, The Deputy Governor Of DKI Riza Patria Asks For The 212 Reunion Not To Be Held At The Horse Statue

JAKARTA - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria again asked that the 212 Reunion not be held in the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta. Riza received news that the 212th Reunion was held by Az-Zikra, Sentul, Bogor.

"Regarding the PA 212 Reunion activities as we said, we ask the committee to reconsider because this is a pandemic period. Finally, there was a meeting with the Metro Police, the Provincial Government, and the committee. Finally, it was agreed that it would not be held at Monas because Monas had not yet been opened. Not even at the Juda Statue, because at the Horse Statue it can cause a crowd and crowd. there is also a public place that can disturb traffic and public order,” Riza told reporters, Wednesday, December 1.

From the information received, the 212 Reunion was held in Az-Zikra Sentul. Regarding the news that Az-Zikra did not give permission, the Deputy Governor did not know about it.

“It was agreed at Az-Zikra, it was the best solution, which was very wise. That's why we are very happy and grateful to the committee who finally decided on a place in Sentul. At Ustaz Arifin Ilham's place," he continued.

The latest news is that the Bogor Resort Police is still on standby even though the 212 Grand Reunion has been canceled at the Az-Zikra Mosque, Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java, Thursday, December 2.

"We still have personnel on standby. We are also preparing a scenario for blocking vehicles in the Sentul area," said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Harun in Cibinong, Bogor, Wednesday, December 1.

He also admitted that he had received a copy of the rejection letter from the family of the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham regarding the implementation of the 212 Grand Reunion at the Az-Zikra Mosque because it was still in an atmosphere of mourning.

The reason is, the big family at the Az-Zikra Mosque is still shrouded in grief over the death of the second son of the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham, Muhammad Ameer Adz Zikro, on Monday, November 29.

Chairman of the Az-Zikra Foundation Khotib Kholil said the Committee for the 212 Grand Reunion had received a rejection letter from the deceased's family and would look for alternative locations for the grand reunion.
