Ojol Driver Found Dead On The Edge Of Medan Canal, Suspected Of Being A Robbery Victim
MEDAN - A resident of Jalan Pinang Baris, Medan Sunggal Subdistrict, was found dead on the outskirts of the Canal, Jalan Inspeksi, Titi Kuning Village, Medan Johor Subdistrict. He is suspected of being the victim of a robbery.
The victim is identified as M Idris (42), an online motorcycle taxi driver. When found, there were wounds on the neck and right hand of the victim. Later, both of the victim's eyes were also found to be bruised.
From the information obtained, the victim was first found by 2 residents named Irham and Radif. At that time, the two witnesses who were passing by saw a man lying on the side of the road. Then the two of them called the residents and Kepling and then contacted the Delitua Police.
In addition, another witness named Agus said that he and his colleague who were looking for used goods at a garbage dump not far from the location saw a car stop.
"You saw a white sedan, then the white car moved to the scene where the body was found and then got out of the car 2 men with the characteristics of wearing black clothes, black pants, wearing a hat. Then the car went to the Delitua main road," said Agus.
Separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Medan Polrestabes, Kompol M Firdaus, when confirmed confirmed the discovery of the body.
"The victim is suspected to be the driver of one of the motorcycle taxi drivers. Allegations of robbery and murder," said Kompol Firdaus, confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, December 1.
Kompol Firdaus explained, currently his party is still continuing to investigate the incident.
