JAKARTA - The Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) appreciates the investigation carried out by the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) regarding sexual harassment and bullying experienced by its employee, MS.

Even so, KPI chairman Agung Suprio admitted that he had not received a complete copy from Komnas HAM regarding the investigation carried out. So they can't do much.

"The Central KPI expresses its appreciation for Komnas HAM's examination and study of cases of bullying and sexual violence. Second, the Central KPI awaits the submission of a complete report and recommendation from Komnas HAM which will be submitted on November 29, 2021," Agung said at an online press conference, Tuesday. , November 30.

Furthermore, he ensured that his party was still preparing strict sanctions for the alleged perpetrators if they were proven to have bullied and sexually harassed MS. Agung ensured that the Central KPI would not tolerate the perpetrators of internal harassment and bullying.

"Will be firm and will not tolerate acts of bullying and sexual violence in any form by providing sanctions based on applicable regulations," he said.
