Housewives In Denpasar Steal In Dozens Of Locations

DENPASAR - Housewife (IRT) with the initials NPR (20) was arrested by the West Denpasar Police, Bali, for committing theft. The CCTV footage of the perpetrator during the theft has also gone viral on social media.

The perpetrator's actions were revealed during the theft at a bag shop on Jalan Gunung Batur, Pemecutan, West Denpasar, Bali.

The theft was discovered by the shopkeeper who was surprised that Rp900 thousand was missing. At that time the shopkeeper admitted he had fallen asleep.

"Then the victim asked the shopkeeper next door and it was true that a woman using a black Vario brand motorcycle entered the victim's shop. For this incident, the victim reported it to the West Denpasar Police," said West Denpasar Police Chief Commissioner Doddy Monza, Tuesday, November 30.

From the victim's report, the police conducted an investigation and arrested the perpetrator at his home, Jalan Bung Tomo, Denpasar, Bali. The perpetrator during interrogation admitted that he was under economic pressure.

"As a result of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had committed theft at that place. The perpetrator also committed theft at 16 crime scenes in the Denpasar area," said Commissioner of Police Doddy.
