Ryuji Utomo Returns To Persija's Cage, Ready To Help The Inconsistent Kemayoran Tiger
JAKARTA - Ryuji Utomo has completed his loan spell at Malaysian club Penang FC. The defender is confirmed to return home to Persija Jakarta headquarters.
Persija Director Ferry Paulus said, after the loan period was over, Ryuji returned to Persija and would strengthen the team.
"Ryuji Utomo's loan period expires on November 29, 2021. So he will definitely come back," said Ferry in a statement received by VOI, Tuesday.
If he is going to be loaned again, continued Fery, Ryuji must first return to Jakarta. However, the possibility is minimal because Persija is currently in need of additional strength.
"Because if you want to be extended or re-loaned, there must be approval from us," said Ferry.
“As of today, I dare to confirm that the team will definitely use Ryuji. We will definitely not borrow again," concluded FP.
Persija Jakarta currently really needs the presence of new players because they have not performed consistently in the 2021 Indonesian Liga 1 title.
Until the 14th week, the Kemayoran Tigers were still stuck in 10th place in the standings with a collection of 18 points. The results were obtained from four wins, six draws and three defeats.
