JAKARTA - The mass of workers held a demonstration at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta asking Governor Anies Baswedan to dare to cancel the determination of the 2022 UMP. The workers hoped that Anies would not be a cowardly governor and not be a 'stupid'.
"I said Mr. Anies Baswedan, don't be a stupid governor, don't be a scared governor, because today is clearly the Constitutional Court's decision, the DKI Governor must dare to fight it, the West Java Governor has not set wages, why dare to set the DKI Jakarta UMP, " said KSPI Jakarta representative, Sony Hinasa, at the Jakarta City Hall, Monday, November 29. Sony said that the labor union asked for the revision of the 2022 UMP to be carried out as soon as possible. At the very least, workers urge there to be a maximum increase of 10 percent. "We, Jakarta workers, ask that today it must be revised and withdraw the demand for the UMP workers of Rp. 37 thousand as a difference, which is only how many percent we ask for 7-10 percent.
Responding to this, the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party considered that the words of the workers using the 'bencong' diction were unintentional. Because, the situation of the action supports the protesters to say anything suddenly.
"The question of mentioning Mr. Anies 'don't be a stupid governor', maybe they 'skipped off' due to the dynamic situation during the demonstration," said Deputy Chairperson of the Jakarta Gerindra DPD, Syarif to reporters, Monday, November 29, evening.
Syarif understands that the demonstration situation is not conducive so that the workers use the 'bencong' diction. However, he appreciated the peaceful demonstration. "I understand very well the aspirations of my fellow workers, and when the demonstrations sometimes get out of hand, the situation is sometimes out of control. But I appreciate that the peaceful situation can be maintained," he said. it becomes a trigger for all parties. Syarif believes that Anies forgives the words of the workers who use the term bencong. "I fully understand, and I also make sure Mr. Anies will forgive. The spirit of the statement is to encourage Mr. Anies to provide solutions, hopefully there will be a win-win solution, between workers, the provincial government, and the public. entrepreneurs," he said. Meanwhile, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) assessed that the demonstration to Anies had been misdirected because it should have gone to the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah.
"They do this because they don't fully understand the existing rules, that they should demonstrate to the Minister of Manpower who is involved in making national regulations," said member of the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Abdul Aziz, to reporters, Monday, November 29.
