Trump Evacuated After Shooting Outside The White House
JAKARTA - President of the United States (US) Donald Trump was suddenly evacuated from the White House meeting room by security forces. This was done after there was a gunshot outside the building.
Launching from CNN, Tuesday, August 11, after which Trump returned to the meeting room a few minutes later. He confirmed that there was a shooting outside the White House. The incident took place just outside the White House courtyard close to Lafayette Square.
"There was shooting outside the White House and it seems very well controlled. I want to thank the Secret Service for doing their always-fast and very effective job," Trump said on his return.
"I feel very safe with the Secret Service. They are great people. They are the best of the best. They are very well trained," Trump told reporters.
Trump said he had asked if there had been any vandalism of White House facilities.
"I don't think the man broke anything," he added. "I'm sure nothing has been tampered with. I've already asked that question," he added,
The Secret Service also confirmed that the shooting had taken place via its official Twitter account. They said that the shooting involved a Secret Service officer and a man. The two people are now receiving treatment at the hospital.
Update: the investigation into a USSS officer involved shooting is ongoing. A male subject and a USSS officer were both transported to a local hospital. At no time during this incident was the White House complex breached or were any protectees in danger.

Trump told reporters he did not know whether the shooting suspects had bad intentions against him. Then a journalist asked Trump if he was confused by the incident.
"Do I look confused?" said Trump.
"If you look back over the centuries, the world has been a dangerous place, a very dangerous place, and that will continue, I think, for a period of time," Trump added.
