Committee Has Been Formed, PWI Jakarta Ready To Hold MHT Awards 2022
JAKARTA - The Association of Indonesian Journalists (PWI) of DKI Jakarta Province is preparing to hold the Muhammad Husni Thamrin Journalism Award 2022 aka MHT Awards 2022. To that end, a committee has been formed, chaired by Budi Nugraha, Deputy Head of Education at PWI Jakarta.
"We must prepare ahead of time for the MHT Awards, so that the implementation is much better than the previous one," said PWI Jaya Chair, Sayid Iskandarsyah, Monday, November 29.
Sayid Iskandarsyah said, from the coordination carried out with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Diskominfotik, the 2022 MHT Awards are expected to attract more participants in the seven categories being contested.
"We also hope that the peak event of awarding the winners can be held lively, no longer a hybrid like the last two years. This hope can be realized if the conditions are far different too," said Sayid Iskandarsyah.
The Journalism Award of Muhammad Husni Thamrin was presented from the collaboration of PWI Jaya with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The contested works are related to the dynamics of the development of DKI Jakarta. For the 48th MHT Awards 2022, journalistic works from seven categories were contested, published in print, electronic and online media from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.
At the 47th MHT Awards in 2021, the committee selected 491 journalistic works from seven categories. The details are 177 text categories, 58 photo categories, 95 terrestrial TV video categories, 48 streaming TV video categories, 12 radio categories, 49 infographic categories, and 52 editorial categories.
Budi Nugraha, chairman of the MHT Awards 48 2022 panel, expressed his hope regarding the successful implementation of this prestigious event, which has always been awaited by the media.
