37 Lawyers Provide Assistance To Dozens Of Pancasila Youth Members Who Are Suspects
JAKARTA - The head of the Pancasila Youth Legal Counsel and Defense Agency (BPPH) Razman Arif Nasution said dozens of lawyers would provide legal assistance to 16 PP members who were suspects. This assistance is carried out so that the legal process runs according to the applicable regulations.
"There are 37 attorneys who signed," Razman told reporters, Monday, November 29.
Razman said that actually there are still many lawyers who want to be involved to provide assistance. But it was decided just not all could join.
The reason is, so as not to impress this problem as a stage for certain parties.
"We don't want it to be seen as an exaggeration. So we don't want the impression that people who defend this are too much, we want to work professionally and simply," said Razman.
In addition, not all lawyers can join for reasons of efficiency. In this way, the communication between the team of lawyers is good.
"The concept of our state is poor in structure, rich in functions, so there is no need for too many (lawyers) and fat," said Razman.
