Land Mafia Rampant, Indonesian Ambassador To Papua New Guinea Ngadu To The Criminal Investigation Police Becomes A Victim
JAKARTA - The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Solomon Islands Andriana Supandy visited the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, South Jakarta, Monday. He complained about the alleged land mafia.
The arrival of the Indonesian Ambassador to Papua New Guinea accompanied by his attorney Inu Jajuli, was observed arriving at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police at around 10.30 WIB, immediately entering the Bareskrim Building.
"The Ambassador was present at the Criminal Investigation Unit, he became a victim of the land mafia," said Andriana's attorney, Inu Jajuli, Monday, November 29.
However, Inu has not disclosed the chronology of the land case his client is facing. However, he said that the victims were the parents of Ambassador Andriana, the late Andi Supandy.
"Essentially, we report the alleged criminal act of falsifying the identity of Ambassador Andriana's parents," said Inu, quoted from Antara.
Inu Jajuli doesn't want to talk much about this. He will deliver directly after making a report at the Criminal Investigation Police.
After making the report, said Inu, Ambassador Andriana plans to meet with the National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to directly convey the land mafia case that befell his late parents.
Previously, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) ensured that the efforts to eradicate land mafia by the police through the Anti Land Mafia Task Force were still ongoing, by taking legal action against criminals.
The National Police leadership has instructed the regional police chiefs and regional police chiefs not to hesitate in thoroughly investigating the land mafia case.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo, revealed that the National Police carried out efforts to eradicate land mafia cases, throughout 2021 as many as 69 cases were handled by the National Police Anti-Mafia Task Force.
"The target for the completion of the program cases in 2021 is that 69 land mafia cases have been handled," Dedi told reporters in Jakarta, Friday (11/19).
Dedi said the 69 cases were recorded from January to October 2021. From the handling of these cases, five of them are still in the investigation process, 34 are in the investigation stage. Then, 14 cases have been transferred to stage I (one).
Then, 15 cases of land mafia have been transferred to phase II. And one case was investigated with a restorative justice approach, or "restorative justice" (RJ).
Dedi added, from the land mafia case being handled, the Criminal Investigation Police investigators have named 61 people as suspects in the case.
