PSI Supports Gibran In Solo Pilkada, Promises 15,000 Votes

SOLO - The Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) officially supports Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Teguh Prakosa in the Solo Pilkada

This support was conveyed during the symbolic submission of the Gibran-Teguh recommendation by the Chairman of the DPD PSI Surakarta, Antonius Yogo Prabowo. This procession took place on the grounds of the Sriwedari Stadium in Solo, Central Java, Monday 10 August.

Yogo Prabowo said that his party had committed to support Gibran from the start. This recommendation for support was signed by PSI Chairman Grace Natalie and PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni on August 7.

"As a youth party, we will be strong and make creative actions to support Gibran-Teguh," said Yogo, quoted by Antara.

According to Yogo, one of these creative ideas was proven by cycling in the morning at the Sriwedari Stadium in Solo and continued by submitting a recommendation letter of support from Gibran-Teguh.

The Surakarta PSI in the 2019 Pileg won one seat with 12,000 votes. PSI promised a target of 15 thousand votes for the Gibran-Teguh pair.

Meanwhile, Gibran said that the joining of PSI added political power to win the Solo Pilkada on December 9. According to him, PSI's recommendation will make a collaboration for the benefit of the community and the progress of Solo City.

"We would like to thank the Chairman of the DPD, Chairman of the DPP, and the Secretary General of PSI for the recommendations for the Gibran-Teguh pair," said Gibran.

The pair Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Teguh Prakosa stepped forward as mayor and deputy mayor's balloons after receiving a recommendation from the PDIP DPP. Gibran-Teguh also received official support from the Gerindra Party and PSI. Meanwhile PAN and Golkar only verbally supported the pair.
