Papuan KKB Frontman Temius Magayang Has A Black Record Of Crimes, Persecution Of Yahukimo KPUD Staff And 3 Murders
PAPUA - Head of the Nemangkawi Operations Public Relations Task Force Kombes Ahmad Mustofa Kamal said Demius Magayang alias Temius Magayang, a leader of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Yahukimo region, had a series of crimes.
The perpetrator was arrested in the area around PT Indopapua Jalan Gunung, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Saturday, November 27.
According to Kamal, Temius Magayang is the Operation Commander of KKB XVI Yahukimo Region and was involved in a murder case in Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency.
"Temius Magayang is the perpetrator of severe abuse against KPUD staff, Yahukimo Henry Jovinski," Kamal said as quoted by Antara, Jakarta, Sunday, November 28.
Another crime committed by Temius Magayang was the murder of three people. First, against Muhamad Toyib on Jalan Bandar on 18 May 2021 and the killing of two members of Satfas Pemrahwan 432/SWJ at the end of Nop Goliat Dekai Airport.
The operation to arrest Temius began with the whereabouts of the perpetrators who were known to the officers. "At 10:45 WIT, the Joint Team of the Yahukimo Police with the Nemangkawi Task Force led by the Head of the Yahukimo Unit Task Force-i AKP I Nengah S Gapar moved to the target location around PT Indopapua Jalan Gunung, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency to make arrests," said Kamal.
One hour later, at 11.40 WIT, the team arrived at the location and saw a car carrying DPO Demius Magayang alias Temius Magayang passing at the scene of the case, so the team immediately made an arrest.
At 12.00 WIT, the team moved from the scene to the Yahukimo Police Station for an initial examination. Furthermore, at 12.30 WIT, DPO Demius Magayang alias Temius Magayang was immediately taken to the Dekai Hospital for medical treatment, due to the gunshot wound he suffered.
During the arrest, the Police secured evidence, including one short homemade firearm, eight rounds of ammunition consisting of seven 5.56 mm caliber and one 7.62 mm caliber. Next, two cell phones, a wallet, a knife, and a necklace with a BK pattern.
