COVID-19 Update As Of 27 November: 404 New Cases, 8,226 Active Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 287,400 specimens were examined with the result that there were 404 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,255,672 people and 8,226 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, November 27.

Today's recovered cases increased by 260 cases, bringing the total to 4,103,639 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 11 people and a total of 143,807 people.

The province with the most new cases was in DI Yogyakarta with 68 cases and a total of 156,707 cases. Followed by Riau with 62 new cases with a total of 128,780 cases. DKI Jakarta has 54 new cases and a total of 863,811 cases. Then, Central Java with 48 new cases and a total of 468,297 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 86 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an increase of 32 recovered cases, West Java with an increase of 31 recovered cases, and DI Yogyakarta with an increase of 30 recovered cases.

There are 8 provinces that reported no new cases today, namely Aceh, West Sumatra, Bengkulu, Central Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, and Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 53,681,387.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.20 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,397 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 138,119,613 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 93,666,839 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 1,224,061. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
