Task Force: 93.1 Million Indonesians Have Received Second Dose Of Vaccine

JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) recorded that 93,105,029 Indonesians had received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Based on the latest data from the COVID-19 Task Force, the number of residents who have received the second dose of vaccine has increased by 830,467 people.

The number of residents who received the first dose of vaccine has reached 137,505,204 people after experiencing an increase of 792,057 people.

Launching Antara, Friday, November 26, the third dose which is currently only given to health workers (nakes) has also increased by 1,224,083 people, after an increase of 5,780 people.

Until now, it was stated that the government was still targeting 208,265,720 Indonesian citizens to be able to get two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in order to form group immunity.

The Task Force also stated that the number of active cases had increased again, namely 53 cases throughout Indonesia, bringing the total active cases to 8,093 cases.

The number of people who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 also increased by 453 cases. As a result, as many as 4,255,268 people were confirmed to be infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus throughout Indonesia.

In addition to active cases and positive cases, the death toll continues to grow by 14 people. Bringing the number of patients who died to reach 143,796 people.

However, the number of recovered patients also continues to increase. The number of recovered patients today increased by 386 patients, bringing the total recovered patients to 4,103,379 people.

Then as many as 288,620 specimens from various COVID-19 tests have been examined, while 6,212 people have been included in the suspect category, with a daily specimen positivity rate of 0.25 percent and a daily person positivity rate of 0.24 percent.

It is hoped that all parties will work together to prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases by continuing to be disciplined in implementing health protocols such as wearing masks properly, washing hands with soap and running water and not doing social mobilization outside the home if there is no urgent need.

It is also important to immediately register with the nearest health facility, in order to carry out vaccinations that can make the body immune to the SARS-CoV-2 virus which is still present throughout the country.
