During The 2022 DPRD Session, The Mayor Of Kupang Prohibits Traveling Officials To Outside The Region, Who Are Stubborn Are Sanctioned
KUPANG - The mayor of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, Jefri Riwu Kore, forbade all department heads to travel outside the region during the 2022 DPRD session.
"The presence of department heads in budget discussions during the 2021/2022 session period to discuss the General Budget Policy Draft and the Provisional Budget Priority and Ceiling Plan (KUA-PPAS) for the 2022 budget year is very important," said Jefri in Kupang, Antara, Friday, 26 November.
The warning from the Mayor of Kupang was delivered in front of 37 members of the Kupang City DPRD in a budget discussion session led by the Chairman of the DPRD, Jeskiel Laodoe.
Jefri said, all Heads of Service, Head of Agency, Director of Regional Companies and Heads of Sub-districts within the Kupang City Government are required to participate in the entire trial process.
"All of these officials did not travel or take official trips outside the region during the trial period," he stressed.
Jefri said that he would definitely give strict sanctions to the head of the OPD who was stubborn and still traveling outside the area during the trial period.
He hoped the OPD leaders to focus and attend directly on the agenda of the trial on time.
According to him, the presence of OPD leaders is very important in explaining the various programs proposed to the Kupang City DPRD which will be implemented in 2022.
