Pertamina Mandalika Is Ready To Face Moto2 Next Year, Bo Bendsneyder: I Am Motivated To Give The Best Results In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team stated that they are ready to face the 2022 Moto2 race, moreover one of the series will be held at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"Our preparations for Moto2 2022 have even begun. Of course we hope that Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team can give the best results in Moto2 next season, especially when racing at the Mandalika Circuit," said President of Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team Rapsel Ali, as reported by Antara, Friday.
To face next year's racing season, Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team relies on two riders, namely Bo Bendsneyder who is an old racer and Gabri Rodrigo who has just joined to replace Tom Luthi who retired.
"When Bo Bendsneyder visited Indonesia, Gabri Rodrigo did a test with the team in Jerez (22-23 November)," said Rapsel Ali.
Bo Bendsneyder, who is a Dutch racer with Indonesian blood, was in Indonesia to see firsthand the World Superbike (WSBK) race at the Mandalika Circuit, which was first held at the circuit which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo.
Bo Bendsneyder also briefly attended the Pertamina booth at the GIIAS event and appeared during the event at the Pertamina booth at Lombok Airport to meet and greet with Pertamina on the Mandalika Experience stage.
The racer who is familiarly called Mas Bo, together with the management of the Mandalika Racing Team, met with the Mandalika Racing Team Fans Club at Desmo Corner, Jakarta, yesterday and they spent time with fans, started chatting and signing autographs and taking pictures together.
Bo Bendsneyder was touched and motivated after seeing the overwhelming support from Indonesian fans, especially the Mandalika Racing Team Fans Club, which was officially established two months ago.
"I salute the support of Indonesian fans. They really appreciate and support me in any condition. I am so touched and motivated to give the best results in the Indonesian series later in March 2022," said Bo Bendsneyder.
