Anis Matta Claims Member Of The Gelora Party Exceeds 495 Thousand People

DENPASAR - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora) Anis Matta said the current number of members of the Gelora Party is more than 495,000 people.

While the management of the DPW level has reached 100 percent (34 provinces), the management of the DPD is in 514 regencies/cities, 6,070 DPC (sub-district level) and 7,020 PAC (sub-district/village level), said Anis Matta at the event in Denpasar, Thursday, November 25.

"It can be seen that the growth of the structure to date is an extraordinary achievement that all cadres and sympathizers of the Gelora Indonesia Party should be proud of," he said at the event which was also attended by Secretary General of the Indonesian Gelora Party Mahfuz Sidik and General Treasurer Ahmad Rilyadi, quoted by Antara.

In the commemoration of the 2nd Anniversary of the Indonesian Gelora Party, Anis and the management of the National Leadership Council greeted and had a dialogue with party functionaries, cadres, sympathizers and figures in Bali.

Anis Matta gave high appreciation to regional leaders and all levels of functionaries at the regional and branch levels throughout Bali.

According to him, the Indonesian Gelora Party was born as a forum to inflame the nation with the determination to rebuild Indonesia's glory, and to make Indonesia into the world's top five powers.

Anis Matta who was accompanied by Deputy General Chair Fahri Hamzah also said that the Gelora Indonesia Party would carry out a big agenda by planting 10 million trees in Indonesia as an effort to overcome the problem of climate change.

For Bali, the action is scheduled for Sunday, November 28, which will be carried out by functionaries and cadres as well as Gelora Party sympathizers in several places throughout the province of Bali.
