The First Attorney General's Tomb Becomes An Icon At The Cibinong Adhyaksa Tomb

JAKARTA - Deputy Attorney General Setia Untung Arimuladi said that the grave of the First Attorney General, Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja, became an icon in Pusara Adhyaksa, Cibinong, Bogor, West Java, after being moved from the Menteng Pulo TPU, South Jakarta.

"This will be the icon of the tomb at the Adhiyaksa Tomb. The only Adhyaksa tomb is in Cibinong, yes. It has been a long time ago," said Untung after leading the funeral ceremony at the Adhyaksa Tomb Cemetery, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, Thursday, November 25.

The tomb of Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja is placed at the very front near the entrance to the Adhyaksa Tomb Park which is located in the Hero's Cemetery (TMP) area of Pondok Rajeg, Cibinong, Bogor.

According to him, the transfer of the tomb of the late Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja was planned since 2019. At that time Untung received information that there was the grave of the first Indonesian Attorney General at the Menteng Pulo TPU.

"In 2019, I as the chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutors Association received information, we checked there and then I contacted the family concerned for the transfer, the family agreed to be better cared for and cared for," he explained, quoted from Antara.

The funeral ceremony was attended by the Attorney General's Office, the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, the Bogor District Attorney's Office, and the Bogor Regency Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

Meanwhile, Pradana Ganda Subrata who represented the family of Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja thanked the ranks of the Attorney General's Office for relocating the grave of his father's uncle, Purwoto Ganda Subrata.

"We are very grateful, he (Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja) does not have a biological son with being moved (his grave) is an honor for us, this is a special funeral for prosecutors," he said.

He recalled that his late grandfather was an honest, simple, and highly dedicated person.

"Because he is very simple. This is a story from my late father. In the 1950s my father was a judge, then he visited his house in the living room where he sat on the mat, it was as simple as that," said Pradana.
