Police Crashing 6 Cars In Padang Legal Processed

PADANG - A policeman driving a Pajero Sport crashed into 6 cars in a row at RTH Imam Bonjol, Padang, West Sumatra.

"Yes, it is true that a police officer," said Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, quoted by Antara, Sunday, August 9.

The driver who crashed into 6 cars on Saturday, August 8 afternoon, had the rank of Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP). The police confirmed that Bayu would process the AKP that hit the 6 cars according to the applicable regulations.

"It is resolved first (the process) for the accident, then proceed to the process as a member of the Police," he said.

AKP Pajero driver with police number BA 74 TI is known to have come to Padang to attend his junior's wedding reception. While driving, the driver crashed into a car in the Imam Bonjol green open space (RTH), Jalan M Yamin, Padang.

Witnesses said that there was a loud crash when the Pajero's car crashed into a car parked on the side of Jalan M Yamin. The car driven by the police drove from the intersection of the Padang Police to Pasar Raya.

After crashing into the car, Pajero's car was still driving towards Pasar Raya Padang and again crashed into another parked car. The car involved in the accident was evacuated by the Padang Police Laka Thenas Unit.
