Aceh Governor Extends PPKM Level 3 And 2 To 6 December
ACEH - Aceh Governor Nova Iriansyah extended the implementation of Micro-Based Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Levels 3 and 2 and optimized the COVID-19 Handling Command Post at the village level in Aceh until December 6, 2021.
"The extension of PPKM levels 3 and 2 is in accordance with the Governor's Instruction (Ingub) No. 25 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Micro-Based Community Activities Levels 3 and 2, as well as optimizing the COVID-19 Handling Post at the village level," said the Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau. Aceh Secretariat Muhammad Iswanto in Banda Aceh, reported by Antara, Thursday, November 25.
He explained that the PPKM extension followed up on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 61 of 2021 regarding PPKM Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1
As well as optimizing the COVID-19 handling posts at the village and sub-district levels to control the spread of COVID-19 in the Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua regions.
Iswanto said that there are six regencies/cities in Aceh with level 2 status and 17 other urban districts are at level 3 status. The six level 2 regions are Southeast Aceh Regency, Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh Jaya Regency, Banda Aceh City, Sabang City and Langsa City.
Meanwhile, 17 regions with level 3 status are South Aceh, East Aceh, Central Aceh, West Aceh, Aceh Besar, Pidie, North Aceh, Simeulue and Aceh Singkil.
Furthermore, Bireuen Regency, Southwest Aceh, Nagan Raya, Aceh Tamiang, Bener Meriah, Pidie Jaya, Lhokseumawe City and Subulussalam City.
"In the instruction, the Governor asked the mayors and regents whose areas were determined according to the criteria for the level of the pandemic situation based on an assessment with level 2 criteria, in addition to regulating Micro PPKM in general, also specifically regulating as the Fourth Dictum, Fifth Dictum, and Tenth Dictum Instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs. The country is meant by considering local wisdom and current conditions," he said.
