Bogor Will Have A New Capital City, 10 Hectares Of Ex-BLBI Land From Sri Mulyani To Be Capital
JAKARTA - Bogor City Government (Pemkot) is said to have a new city center in the near future. This was stated by the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani at a press conference today.
According to the Minister of Finance, the Bogor City Government is one of the parties appointed by the central government to receive and manage the assets of the former Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) in the form of land with a total area of 10.3 hectares worth Rp345.7 billion.
"Of course, the Mayor (Bogor) will have to provide the budget to build the new capital city, and in the APBD I hope it will create economic activities for recovery due to Covid which was affected," he said through a virtual channel, Thursday, November 25.
Based on this step, the responsibility for administration, ownership, use and maintenance of the former BLBI assets has been transferred to the Bogor City Government.
"I also hope that the efforts we are currently making can continue to encourage economic recovery not only in Bogor City but also in its surroundings," continued the Minister of Finance.
In detail, the area led by Bima Arya received a grant from the state in the form of land covering an area of 103,290 square meters spread over seven different locations.
The first plot of land is 33,500 square meters in Empang Village, South Bogor District. Second, a plot of land covering an area of 2,679 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District. Third, a plot of land covering an area of 2,689 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District.
Then fourth, a plot of land covering an area of 2,929 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District. Lima, a plot of land covering an area of 295 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District. Six, plots of land covering an area of 206 and 322 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District.
Then the last is a strategic plot of land on the edge of a toll road covering an area of 60,000 square meters in Katulampa Village, East Bogor District.
Meanwhile, the signing of the handover of assets was carried out by the Director General of State Assets, Rionald Silaban, as a representative of the Ministry of Finance, while the Bogor City Government was represented by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya.
